Screens are absolute garbage and it’s full of bloatware

They all have the same SOC (SD632) and 2GB ram...ouch. I get that they're almost double the price, but a used 3a is probably a better use of money. If the Power had 4 or 6GB it'd be real solid. ...

Fast is faster phone and better camera. The reason its a bit cheaper is because the power comes with a much more expensive battery.

I have a G7, my 2nd Moto phone (last one was a G5 I think). Solid phones, not flashy or fancy, just get the job done. And a VERY clean version of android, barely any bloatware at all. I like that...

Yes, you should be able to just put the sim card in and be ready to go. If you don't get a text message that will set your network settings, you may have to do that manually.

In 4th quarter 2020, you think that any $100+ phone would net you minimum of 3gb of ram. Was there a ram shortage when they produced these?

Not sure about the rest of you, but I'm pretty damn sick of seeing these B&H, Best Buy, Amazon, Target etc. deals on the front page showing up as "NEW", when it's the same ole crap from last week.

For what Amazon has the Moto G Fast at currently I would go with that. It's got a better processor and starts with Android 10 vs 9 on the G7 Power. The G7 series are older and should probably be at...

It wont. Motorola is absolute junk for updates. You'll need to do something like lineage or a 3rd party path. Android 10 is likely all it will get

Post #141260489 added 10-15-2020 11:01 AM by Dsplashqq in Deal Talk
They don't have the same amount of RAM. The G7 Play has 2GB, the G7 Power has 3GB, and the E has 2GB. The G Fast (discussed elsewhere in this thread) has 3GB like the G7 Power.
