Get X570 MSI Tomahawk and it is a good board . If you need to upgrade for more cores in few years later with limited budget , that board can handle new Zen3 16 core pretty well for sure.

Another easy way to say no, if you have intel, pcie 4.0 offers no benefit. While some z490 boards support it, none of the processors do. You'd have to wait for 11th gen.

No they didnt, sony has a dedicated ssd controller baked into the motherboard, what we dont know is if that controller does some voodoo magic to make all gen4 drives upto its speed

They are both pci 4 the x570 and b550 are almost the same. The x570 mostly just has more usb ports or m.2 slots but both perform equally under normal situations (non overclocked systems)
