Maybe you have certain routers in mind? Many wifi cards have an AC peak connection of 866. So, if you have a triband AC router, the peak will always be 866. Some dual-band routers are more powerful....

I got a netgear Wi-Fi 6 mesh from Costco, it’s awesome. Can’t speak for eero but prices are higher than netgear for dual band which is not impressive.
