Price seems to have dropped $10 from the previous deal. Since Amazon doesn't like doing price match. I contacted Amazon and got them to give a promo credit of $10 after a bit of persuasion.

You shouldn’t have to persuade. Their own terms say they don’t price match, but if the price drops within 30 days of your purchase on Amazon, they will reimburse you the difference.

Also they updated iPhone look to align with iPad Pro and new iPad Air, so it’s possible next year they will update Apple watch to that new flat look. But yes series 4-6 are basically the same...

Eh, it's only $15, not that big of a price drop. It's basically within the "allowed" discount allowance from MSRP. You seen the same on iPads and the like where $30 discount are pretty common.
