FWIW, OWC sold me a counterfeit Apple branded charger (in "bulk" packaging). I submitted a report to the IL attorney general, and I'm not the only one with this issue.

Wow. Random but i needed a battery for an old laptop. Theres a hack where you can install the more recent os x software on your macbook to make it more useable. It works.

Batteries like these work fine. Cheap, runs until they die, easy to install. As for the CRAPPY screws Apple uses, can be A TOTAL PAIN to unscrew, esp. If they've used theadlocker on the screws...

Battery lasted less than my old battery with 1100+ cycles. It lasted for about an hour and 40 minutes vs 2 hours with my old one. Gotta test more but might return it.

I bought one from OWC and it only lasted me 2 years until started with discharge issues. They only offer a 1 year Limited Warranty. This battery worth it to try at this price.
