I found one at BB for $1800 but it was a display model and had 2000 hours on it. I figured I would be able to get the CX for the same price brand new and since its the same panel, not worth the risk....

I wouldn't say we have a different take on the value of the difference, only on the amount of difference. I agree, at $500 to $600 more, I wouldn't buy a Sony set over an LG set either(and I didn't)....

Which I/O wise is basically a 2018 LG.
