I've had SanDisk, Samsung and Lexar die. I think it's important to treat these as temporary storage. If you need something more permanent then you can use a SAN or cloud solution.

Don’t use usb flash drives for Xbox. I corrupted one - not sure what caused it. Better to use an external ssd or hdd- you will get more storage as well
