4k works fine; 4k’s audio does not (with Plex). So I still record in 720 or 1080, not the new 4k stations. I ignore them.

You're full of it. I have several of the older hdhr tuners and they will not work with several things that the newer tuner will. The reason they won't is because the firmware is not being updated...

I got mine from Kickstarter as well, and am in N. Dallas. I thought 49.1 KSTR-DT was broadcasting ATSC 3.0, but I don't see any indicator/confirmation of that from within Plex.
