the pixel density will be pretty much the same, so no, but if your monitor is the same distance away at least you will get more screen real estate at the same pixel density, so yes.

Mac’s have typically mini display ports and thunderbolt ports. So out of the box this will not be compatible. But an adapter could fix that.

Same. The only difference I see is lack of HDR and lower brightness, which is not important for indoor use (250 vs 350nits).
