I would. It's actually way more than you need for what you do. But, it's better to have more than you need to allow for future needs. This is a good value, even in the season of black Friday.

That is the maximum Ram Lenovo offers that model with, not the maximum capacity. Ryzen 7 3700U supports 32GB of memory and you can add another 16GB stick by replacing the 4GB user accessible module...

This one is better. 3700u is slightly more powerful in multi-threaded performance than i5-1035G1 but the Vega 10 in 3700u is twice faster than G1 graphics.

I'm always confused why companies gimp their models...12gb max RAM... Why? If this was a Chromebook, I'd definitely buy it, but Windows hogs resources like crazy. Good deal for some, but not for all....

Significant advantage to i5 in nearly every test. For non-gaming, general use, the i5 is just stronger.
