Don’t know about this particular model but as a long time nosebleed sufferer I can tell you humidifiers definitely help. I use a humidifier along with nasal saline gel.

I only paid $20 at Walmart at the end of the year clearance so I didn't bother with warranty. It was totally worth $20 since that's the cost for a filter alone.
