Acer Nitro has same spec but IPS, not as bright, flat screen, same price. This one is brighter, VA. But with $399 being MSRP, better deals can't be far off with BF coming up.

That's a common problem with VA panels when using G-Sync. the best VA panel is the Samsung Odyssey G7 and flickers when you turn on G-Sync.
