For whatever reason, OOS online, and being clearanced at the stores. Don't know the clearance price, yet. ...

Cold is the killer or these kinds cells bring'em in for sure

You absolutely do. Charging at extreme temps, hot or cold, kills batteries fast. Even letting them sit at freezing isn't recommended. Running them at 0F they'll lose about half power.

Agreed. I should have bought into Ryobi.... Meanwhile, Dewalt has been setting on their same awful 20v vacuum for around 6 years now. That said, I can't imagine that the suction is going to be...

The 6 gallon 18v has just enough suction to be useful. And it's been included in the free tool deal numerous times for about $55 after returning battery kit. I have the 6 gallon 18v and it's...

Cold is fine for storage and use. Just don't charge them when the batteries are below freezing. Warm them up before charging.

I just ordered the 3 gal. My line of thinking similar as yours: seemed that the 6 gal woulda had more overlap with my larger corded rigid. The 3 gal would give me quick and easy...the rigid covers...

Right? I have been discovering some of the older stuffs as well that I didn't know existed, like the power scrubber P4510.

I had both but recently sold the 6 gal since I wasn't using it at all. It wasn't heavy but was still a nuisance to bring up and down the stairs. The 3 gal is perfect for cleaning out cars and other...

40cfm is pretty weak. As a comparison most budget corded shop vacs are 100+ in the same price range and don't feel really powerful. Ryobi makes another cordless one that is a little bit more...

Good point. Tho not apples to apples: for comparison, I think the *corded* 4 gal Rigid is a little over 100 cfm. Ryobi 18v 6 gal is 80 cfm

Mine have been in my finished non heated garage in Michigan for better than 2 years, no issues so far. The first year plus was in a non finished garage.

Well, I've been going back and forth between their 3 gal and their 6 gal since they're roughly same price. Would seem this would be the answer, then...though I'm not so sure based on some of the...

The 3 gallon toolbox vac is 45CFM. There is a reason this costs $59.

I looked at the specs. It's only 40CFM of suction, half of what you get from their 6-gallon version. For me, 40CFM is not going to cut it.

You mean I don't need to lug power cables and extension cord around when I want to shopvac stuff?!? Wow mind=blown!!!!! Now if only it comes with battery and charger but that's wishful thinking

Probably be fine but I'd prefer not to gamble and bring them in. IIRC heat is worse for them than cold though.
