If you have the $100 then it won't hurt. Just make sure you can add RAM. This can be upgraded a bit to 12 (or more?). As it gets older RAM is an inexpensive way to add life.

Prob 3-5 hours. Had to turn brightness up high to use it comfortably. The display is nice at high brightness levels and anti-glare works well, but hard to use on lower beightness levels
