Yes, 1920x1080 should be fine at this size unless one is a "snob" and accustomed to super-sharp text on 4K monitors.

The Viewsonic is 1440p and this is a 1080p monitor. So if you are looking to game and your graphics card can handle it, it would make sense to go for the higher resolution one.
