You only need a low level RCA output to the sub. The sub uses highly efficient class D amplification with numerous, large capacitors. It will run fine on a 120 volt, 1800 watt outlet.

Really cool, but if you're going to have 2 subs, I believe it's going to sound much better with the 2 subs spread out further, not in the same spot. Adding a 2nd sub in a 2nd location in my theater...

Unless you have 12 ga wiring (20 amp circuits), cranking this bad boy up anywhere near its rated power will be popping circuit breakers. Not to mention if there are other items on the same circuit.

Last time I checked, if this thing was advertised as 2k watts...120 (more like 115) * 15 = 1800. That's more than 10% less than what it's rated at...so...it either can, or it can't.
