Can’t imagine who would want or need such a powerful speaker but a pro.

Reminds me of the days of having 1-2ohm 12x2 subs in my jeep and 15x2 in my honda civic. I don't remember the brand of the amps, but Image Dynamics for the subs and a whole lot of flipping...

"Hey honey where do you want to spend our second stimulus checks this year?" - "Don't worry, you'll feel it, wont even have to see it"

You only need a low level RCA output to the sub. The sub uses highly efficient class D amplification with numerous, large capacitors. It will run fine on a 120 volt, 1800 watt outlet.

By "best coverage" I meant the smoothest response across the largest area. Properly placing your sub(s) is an important component to the experience.

The hearing follicles literally fall off when you push these low frequencies that you can only feel and not hear.

Last time I checked, if this thing was advertised as 2k watts...120 (more like 115) * 15 = 1800. That's more than 10% less than what it's rated at...so...it either can, or it can't.

The solobarics most likely wont dig anywhere near as low or sound near as clean as these. Though I do dig some of them kicker squares for pressurizing a car.

Unless you have 12 ga wiring (20 amp circuits), cranking this bad boy up anywhere near its rated power will be popping circuit breakers. Not to mention if there are other items on the same circuit.

Thanks it’s pretty good so far but I feel like I have to crank it with music on the gain and in the AVR to boost sub level I think I’ve got some nulls and also need to run calibration

Is Jessica Alba your gf, or did you break up after she refused to get you this sub?

That can happen. If you use MINI DSP you can do things like add delay to actually add to the output and response instead of take away from it.

1. Maybe you should throw the bench seat out and put this there instead, and let it do double duty :) 2. It goes really low, I'd say make sure your car is capable of handling it

Thanks I’m exited about it. I’m gonna get another once I sell my other two Klipsch subs if I’m happy with it. Worries about some quality control issues with the amps from what I’ve heard

Enjoy that sub. Have one behind me. Hoping to get a second soon and have two up front. My house structure shakes with the one sub. I love it. Clean, crisp bass (heavy as hell getting it up 3 floors)

In case anybody is curious, the dimensions are 42.3” x 20” x 27.6”. That’s a monster, so make sure you have the space. I thought my HSU single 15” was big. ;)

People people people you need one of these for every speaker you have to handle the lows. So for example if you have an 11.2 setup so you would need to buy 11 of these.

Not sure what RCA has to do with the power rating. If it outputs 2k Watts, the amp is not 100% efficient. Last I checked, the most efficient class D amps were around 92%. If it actually comes...
