As someone who works in tech. The most common thing I see on the switch is a blown out PMIC because of a 3rd party charger. If I can't use a Nintendo authorized charger its a hard pass for me.

I have this as a secondary dock that I use in my home office and have logged over 280 hours in it with no issue. The important thing is which power adapter you use for the Switch and no issues here.
