The one I was looking at had an F rating on fakespot. I wouldn't expect great quality for $50-$110, but having hundreds of fake reviews is pretty scummy practice, although standard for amazon. ...

Looked at that. First feature listed is "Semi Pu Leather" - forgetting the childish "PU stink" thoughts that immediately came to mind - what the heck is Semi PU (which I assume is polyurethane)?

Some of the worst quality on Amazon. You don't even need Fakespot to assess the BS nature of many of the reviews, and looking at the negative, you take your chances with the Zinus.

One thing I don't like about most of these is that the feet are right at the corners - certain to cause many a stubbed toe, especially for my vision-impaired spouse.

For the metal beds, can you put a bunkie board on top of the slats? The slats seem kinda flush with the frame. Would the bunkie board move around if you put one on top?

That is why I put the mattress I returned underneath the new mattress I bought. So now I have 2 memory foam mattresses stacked and use the 6 inch as a box spring.

Not all of them list a limit. And that's just the twin in the ones that do, larger sizes are 500lbs. Still wondering if this rating takes into account certain... vigorous activities, however.

That's only for the Wen wood twin sizes, Full and larger are 500lbs. Most of the other varieties don't seem to mention a weight limit at all. Read the "About this item" section to be sure.
