Have never had any issues with using hotspot off any tracfone that i've been using. Aslong as the phone supports it, there is nothing on their network to stop you from using it.

Aren't these phone carriers smarter than that? Aren't phones locked at the carrier level? They can just block your meid from their network if it is on the list from other carriers.
