I bought the pack. Yes, it may be slow, but it individually charges batteries, and the USB port works simultaneously while charging batteries.

I've found it's more cost effective to stick a fork in the outlet and then rub it on your alkaline batteries to charge them back up. Give it a shot!

Which unfortunately destroys the battery with excessive heating. Not a big deal if you don't mind replacing them much more often.

I got a pack. The batteries are made in Japan and the charger looks just like the panasonic BQ-CC75. Most likely a rebadged panasonic eneloop.

It's an ok deal if you really need some eneloop clones right away, but I really wish Costco would do an offering that didn't come with a charger and case and only offered the batteries.
