That's not how it works. You can super sample, or use vsr/dsr resolution scaling on pc, but the Playstation5 doesn't even support 1440p monitors natively.

Yeah older game support is hit or miss. Newer stuff from AAA is pretty consistent as 21:9 is a common aspect ratio for gaming.
