Amazon ones are mostly german imports, and genuine. Give cross action a try. It made a big difference forel me, so I'm not going back to Costco ones....

you get used to it. I've been using this model for years and it doesn't even cross my mind. I had a sonicare before and it was quieter, but in the end they both seemed to work fine.

Use it till the battery dies, charge overnight. I have the same model and have been using it over 6 years. Nimh battery is a non issue. Usually I get a week of use between charging.
