Unfortunately, the eGift card does not work physical location payments including the QR scan, pay, and go. Not so much of an easy cash conversion this time unless someone else has a recommendation.

The eGC has a limitation which I just found out about (after buying an eGC): it can only be used for online, phone, and mail order transactions. You may not use the AMEX eGC at physical merchant...

Unfortunately, that's not the case. Minimum on Amazon refill is $0.50. Best strategy would be to leave $1 and then transfer the rest later.

Amex works. Only problem is that it put a hold of 10 cents after you add to paypal. So you have to make the payment of 299.90.

Just worked using PayPal scan/pay. Since there’s no fees what’s stopping someone from using a 2% back card to do this and keep it under the 200 transactions/ $20k yearly limit for tax purposes?
