Cuz this is general purpose Amex GC, just like Visa/MC GC, you can use it on anything. Not like a branded gift card that is tied to a certain merchant. You can use it to pay bills that usually...

Google "PayPal Key." You can create a virtual card that's connected to your PayPal account and charges the saved credit card of your choice. Has worked great for me.

Download the Paypal app. Ask your friend/spouse to download as well. Just add the gift card (MC/Visa/Amex, doesn't matter) to your account like you would do any other card. Then click on Scan and...

so weird ic ouldn't transfer full 300 to another paypal. i could only do 299. anyways make sure your authorized user check their offer. my auth also had and we ended up doing this twice

Anyone have issues with this? It asks for a business name at checkout, so I just put 'personal', and then AMEX securekey popup or whatever said failed when I tried to checkout with my amex.

The eGC has a limitation which I just found out about (after buying an eGC): it can only be used for online, phone, and mail order transactions. You may not use the AMEX eGC at physical merchant...

Amex works. Only problem is that it put a hold of 10 cents after you add to paypal. So you have to make the payment of 299.90.

Unfortunately, that's not the case. Minimum on Amazon refill is $0.50. Best strategy would be to leave $1 and then transfer the rest later.
