Hey guys. Unfortunately the northern tool site is wrong. Both combos come with the 9.0 battery. Still a decent deal I think just wish it came with the 8.0xc.

Good point on the no free shipping. I did free shipping to my local store for pickup instead, but that does make it slightly more expensive than HD. Like you, however, I preferred the 8.0XC battery...

Thanks for pointing out that Northern Tool has the High Output 8.0ah, which I didn't realize. The 9.0ah from HomeDepot is High Demand, for any size from 9.0ah to 12.0ah. There's a good discussion...
