For ryzen... rule of thumb... older ryzen best (gain for the money) speed is 3200... then pick lowest cas. For the new ryzen 5000 series, 3600... then pick the lowest cas. Really not benefit...

Speed / Latency = higher number is better 3000 / 16 = 187.5 (better than) 3200 / 20 = 160

Always check with your motherboard manufacturers website for compatibility; there is usually a section in Support called RAM/Memory QVL. You need to consider latency and voltage as well as the speed.

When choosing between latency and speed. Always choose faster latency first followed by speed. Cxx is the latency here. And the MHz is the ram speed.
