Just to add that BITS MATTER. Makita makes very fine tools (I am thoroughly a makita man) but their bits are pretty mediocre. My current preference is for Triumph.

This is sold by CPO Outlets that I would avoid based on my last experience. Bought a refurb Makita drill & driver kit from CPO when eBay had a 15% off coupon. Kit was missing the batteries. CPO...

Please don't TD these just because you can't rationalize a specialty set vs a cheap 18v. Guys in the trades use these all the time and love them. Granted, I'm in the milwaukee m12 sets now.

Except Ryobi 18V is lower quality, more expensive, and weighs more. This set is not intended to do all the things an 18V set will, but if you do a lot of repetitive tasks and don’t need the power...

Or, buy the 18V Sub-Compact Black Friday combo set, return the extra battery (or set it to store pickup and don't pick it up), and be out the door for $137 for a set of 12V sized tools that use much...

I own a similar makita set that is 15 years old and they perform way better than a new set of ryobis, besides no other brand feels that good on your hands like makitas do.

I have these 12V Makitas, and absolutely love them. They are lightweight but very mighty. I upgraded to 4Ah batteries, but otherwise awesome tools!

I returned the extra battery, unopened, after realizing I got way more life out of the 2.0Ah batteries on these brushless Makita tools than on 2.0Ah batteries on the old brushed Ryobi tools they...

This is the deal. I have this set and love it, feels great in the hand. You're not going to build a deck with it, but I don't build decks. I have Ridgid for my 18v system but Makita for 12v
