I'm most likely going to return my C186 (USB3.2 version) for a refund. I just finished copying ~100GB of data to it and had to restart the copy 6 times to complete the transfer due to copy failures....

these off-brand USB flash drives worry me, I have an old PNY drive that is still working perfectly, and an even older Lexar, so I am sticking with major name brands for reliability

lol same here. i already have many usbs from 4g to 128g. some of them i used occasionally. some even can't find where they are. these days it's hard to find use for usb drives.

With bizarre naming and renaming, in many cases USB 3.2 = USB 3.1 = USB 3.0. They are exact the same things. The transfer speed is up to 5Gbps.

USB 3, 3.1, 3.2 etc etc... whatever it may be, all these cheap flash drives suffer from a very low write speed, especially, if you have more than a few MBs of data to transfer. Better to buy an SSD...
