It's the better set. Like most casual DIYs, I abuse my tools. Poor handling, form, etc. Better tools help offset this so I'm not stripping stuff.

Thanks for the comment, repped. You’re right, I looked at videos of the Kobalt box and it sure does look clunky to take out the drawers and use. Of course this doesn’t dictate the quality of the tools

IMO, Dewalt does seem to be better, but for the price difference it may not be worth it. I'm a casual DIY and still unsure if I should stick with this set because I can get it for $89 (10% discount).

WIsh they make something like this with just METRIC tools. I have no need for SAE, I don't think any cars made in the last 20 years still use SAE sizing. Just want a compact set to leave in my car....

I was there and it was a similar box but different sku about a year ago for 34.98 model 81239. Took a half hour of convincing but it was worth it.

I picked up the Craftsman 282 piece earlier. It is all 6 pt sockets, the deep ones are normal depth, unlike my 150 piece travel set which are shorter. 120 tooth ratchets, good selection of wrenches....

I only managed to snag two. The Walmart employees canceled all my other orders and kept them for themselves I'm sure. I also picked up some of the wireless charging stands and bluetooth keyboards....
