According to CCC this never went under $90 the past 2 years unless it was missed for a brief moment. The 1HP PR20EVS model was the one that constantly dropped under $90.

Cords get in the way. Once you're deep enough into a battery system running out of charged batteries is more of a challenge than a problem.

Same here, only took me two times having to take mine out of my table to decide that wasn't going to work. Picked up the m18 for $99. Only bummer is 90% of my bits are for a 1/2" collet 😑.

For inlay work, these smaller routers are ideal. Easy to hold, easy to move around on the workpiece, etc. And you don't need a 1/2 router bit for that.
