This model is not. Powerblock EXP is the expandable version of the same thing. You can tell if it's expandable or not if you see open slots towards the bottom.

I have the large compact stand. Don't let the frame fool you, Its sturdy and has a center slot for the weight inserts, plus it doesn't take up space like the bigger stand.
