My point is that its a misleading / misguided approach to look at a few benchmark charts and not mention the nuances of why the aforementioned article still said the 970 evo plus was better overall.

I think for the "value" oriented, the sabrent rocket is likely to have deals this upcoming holiday season that will be substantially better than either this or the samsung drive.

I know the benchmarks/reviews. If I rated the Evo Plus at a 9.5, this would be a 9.4. The cheaper cost puts it over the top most of the time.
