This needs to be quoted and restated so that it's not missed. The game is ton of fun in multi-player, if you can get through the learning curve or have any transferable flight sim skills.

Not really. Not unless you maybe intend to collect every VR space game ever and have hotas and are going to play against bots or something. Because imo that's the only reason to spend $3 an hour...

Elite D is great even with just the tutorial to dog fight. I run it in VR with HOTAS rigged into an Ikea office chair.

$21 for Star Wars Squadrons plus $299 for an Oculus Quest 2 VR headset. Assuming you have a good PC. Is the best VR Gaming experience I’ve ever had. A Valve Index is better but costs $800 more.
