yes, if u r looking for an xps 13..last year belv it was i5-8gb for around 800 or so. this is i7+16gb which is good. ram is not upgradable.

I’m a Wintel guy, too. 8gb is plenty. The OS and memory management is far superior to Wintel. Or, you can upgrade the 899 base to 16gb with a $180 upgrade. Memory is soldered and part of the chip....
