Where are these magic $50 shipped models? All seem to be $75-90 depending on the china branding. By that point you might as well spend the 20 bucks more for the Hakko FX888D so you can source tips.

I wouldn't pay more then $5 for this type of entry level, cheap iron anyways. The "original" price of over $18 is just not worth it even if this is Weller. Weller is not as good as it used to be...
