Intel 665p DOES have DRAM Caching, slow, but uses very little energy, suitable for laptop, but longevity is about 300 TBW for the 1 Terabyte.

this is why I hardly shop Newegg anymore. It's either drive to microcenter or use Amazon. No hassle returns are a big deal when you get a bad part. Edited because slick deals app can be weird

Newegg = hard pass. Pay the extra money @ Amazon and have the confidence in knowing if anything goes wrong in the first month, easily returnable.

Decent deal but I'd rather have the SK Hynix P31 at better price.

I do a lot of volume through NewEgg. I've had multiple RMA's through them, both replacement and flat out return. Two of them this past month. I have never had an issue with them.

Glut of RAM and SSDs. Prices should continue to drop in the next few months. This needs to be around $70-80 to be competitive. intel 660p 1Tb was around $79 last year.

Heck no, if 970 Evo is $125, this should be $90 tops. Especially since these are cheater drives that bench well, but have very low sustained end to end write performance.

Intel 665P is a budget QLC SSD without DRM caching whereas this one is one of the fastest drives, TLC and having DRM Cache. The performance is on the league of XPG SX 8100 Pro series. Yes, $100...
