No it's not. They have different colors but perform similarly. I like Staub's lid design better. LC and Staub are top of the line. You can't go wrong with either.

Don't know how this compares to tramonita but my Staub french oven is far superior in every way to Lodge with exception to price. This is a fantastic price. Alas, I already own 3 dutch style ovens.
