Don't know how this compares to tramonita but my Staub french oven is far superior in every way to Lodge with exception to price. This is a fantastic price. Alas, I already own 3 dutch style ovens.

Costco has a two pack of Tramontina 5 and 7 qt dutch oven if anyone's looking for more than one. Obviously you're paying for quality here. This one's made in France while Tramontina's made in China.

This isn't bare cast iron. Enamel is expensive and good enamel is even more expensive especially with the QA that Staub and LC do.
