I have the shark.. I would suggest the Roomba. The shark works but its not as good as others I have tried. It does not do well on my rugs.

Mapping feature allows for designating where to go and not go. I7 version has that ability. They are expensive but, if you don’t like vacuuming, they are worth every penny.
