$150 would be extreme. At $200, people will buy up 3700x like crazy. $200-$220 is the right price. In reality, its only ~15% slower than a 5600x.

It's 3700x vs 5600x, similar price and similar performance. No reason to consider the 5800x if you are not budgeting that price range.

I doubt that. The 5600x is clearly better than the 3700x for 90% of users. $280 is a fine price for people doing large amounts of rendering or editing, but you aren't going to entice tons of users...
