Not too sure about nits, but I can tell you if you’re gonna do any sort of media, don’t get 1080 with 27’. It’s pixelated enough to bother me with daily use. I think 24 at 1080 is tolerable but not 27

it would work but i don't think it is ideal. it does not have a built in speakers and games without sound are lame. also it has a 6ms refresh rate and often monitors considered to be gamming...
