I am using Samsung 43inch refurbished TV from ebay for 2 years as a monitor. Its sharp, clean crisp and looks enormous. Its so much easier to work with multiple open windows without losing the IQ.

If it had BT, you wouldn't need a fancy remote with a dinosaur plug on it... You'd get an excellent sounding pair of BT speakers for the price of said fancy remote.
