V2 100% of the way and thats coming from somebody who has 3 ender 3's. You'll just end up upgrading the parts on the ender 3 to make what is basically a V2.

You don’t need any other upgrades. Lots of people like to upgrade but its not necessary for novice users. Rolls of filament are around $20 and last a while, though you’ll likely want multiple colors....
