Air popped is the worst. That being said, i love the oilless micro wave silicone ones, but you cant not flavor till its popped, its a 100% dry process.

This is the 1500 watt model, so you should be good to go. About the only hard part is going to the good will and finding the glass oil lamp top that fits good on the top.
