The individual sensors are grossly over engineered. Motion sensor, accelerometer, temp sensor (unused), moisture sensor (unused) and made of very very sturdy plastic (polycarbonate?)

It's hard to know what google is planning. If they enable the google hub for security and then release cheaper detects then this deal will seem horrible 'in hindsight' The detects are expensive...

You should be allowed to add more then one hub. I have never owned a house that didn’t have two panels. But if you are in an apartment in SF, then one makes sense.
