I have used no-rush credits in the past towards these with no problems. It was actually nice once when I think it was like spend $15 get $4 and I used all no-rush credits for it.

Confirmed. I just bought Rhythm of War for 15.99 and used $3 worth of credits. Then, I tried to buy another ebook directly afterwards and I saw the $4 discount.
