Mine showed that the "Shipment information sent to FedEx" on 11/28, it actually shipped on 12/14.
I'm guessing it got bulk shipped from Gyna, and once arrived in US, it was handed over to FedEx.

I had the same issue. You can turn it OFF in Bios. Or, just press the "F5" key. It's an on/off for it. The key also still works if you turn the keyboard lighting off in Bios.
