Yes, that's what I meant by the screen sliding up and down. It goes up and down on a sort of track. Really nice to have. I had it on my old 24" Dell, and I'm glad it's on this one too.

No. I am 20-32" away and this size is right. 27" is smallish. This is perfect from that distance (32-38) in fact higher res than thsi would be to small at that distance.
