A rough rule of thumb as a starting point is rear ported speakers should be placed a minimum distance from a wall equal to the port diameter.

No you need a receiver. You can just buy a used one to save a lot of money.
Why not get a used soundbar, should be better than you tv speakers?

Klipsch is best decision for speakers. Make sure though you don't buy the model they had made in China. Those took a huge quality hit. The horn system and copper look is Amazing

I tried the 41Ms and returned them last year. That’s why was asking if it’s worth thrice the price. It’s 4” vs 5.25”.. I know size matters but not sure in this case :)
