I’ve had the tall ones for several years. They don’t collect water in the dishwasher b/c the bottom is flat with a tiny ring around the circumference, but no lip, if that makes sense.

Bought 2 sets last year and love them. We have 6 kids and we haven't broken a single glass. And we stack the big ones 2 high and the small ones 3 high in the cabinet.
