I have 2020 version and it keeps hanging when importing mp4 files and there has been no fix for this. I have not been able to use it because of it. The support on these products are not good.

I'd say you will have no problem if you've worked in lightroom and affinity photo would be a far better match to you than Adobe Photoshop elements.
