Should not go with this board. I know times are rough for finding PC parts, and good deals on them, or them in stock at all. But these MSI boards failed VRM testing, they are not well thought of in...

For a 6 or 8 core at stock clocks you're probably fine, even with this terrible X570 gaming edge or the X570 carbon. But if you're doing a lower end system then just get one of the msi b550 boards...

If you've already got the board - as I do, as well, then it's probably fine to stick with it. I never had any problems with it, though I've since replaced it. But if you're buying a new board, why...

First read your post and was like “oh come on, the Tomahawk was going to be my next go-to board for another AMD build for the wife.... is it now the TraumaHawk?!?” But actually went through the...

I have a 5600x AMD CPU and an 6800 graphics card. My 5600x doesn't even sweat. I think the 5600x is an overkill, I think the 3600 @ around $160 is a much better deal since you won't notice the...

I've had this board since it came out. Zero issues. I just do the stock OC and I don't go beyond the bios automatic OC settings. I've seen all the info that came out after I bought it and though it...

If you want an ATX board, realistically for sub $100, it's only the Aorus Elite V2. https://www.newegg.com/gigabyte-b450-aorus-elite-v2/p/N82E16813145251 Unfortunately, there isn't much data...

Not a chance, the B550 Edge is much better than the X570 one. There are good x570 options for $160 to $170 if you wanted them, but the Edge is one of the best values in b550 currently even at regular...

I saw a bit of confusion by some in this thread. In general, MSI's original X570 lineup had sub-par VRMs. While they should be fine for people not looking to overclock and sticking to R7 3700X or...

Best practice, stay away from MSI for AM3. Once a manufacturer botches something, that's a good indicator the rest of the market might be a better idea caveot emptor
